Frequently Asked Questions

What kinds of woodworking projects do you do?

Well, almost anything! I am always looking to challenge myself with new projects. But the following are just some of the previous types of projects I’ve worked on:

  • Tables: gaming tables, coffee tables, dining tables, end tables, entry tables, night stands, sofa tables

  • Table top gaming accessories

  • Desks

  • Media consoles

  • Bookshelves and bookcases

  • Light boxes

Feel free to also check out my blog for more details on my previous work or follow me on Instagram to keep up with what I’m currently working on.

I can also do some event and display work with my experience in theatre and television. Take a look at my portfolio to get a glimpse of my previous work experiences.

What kinds of materials do you use?

The woods I use are sustainably harvested by a local lumber yard. There are many different species and products, which I am happy to discuss further so we can find what you’re looking for.

Do you ever repurpose old furniture?

Yes! If you have a treasured piece of furniture that is outdated or no longer meets the needs it was designed for, I can help upcycle it into something that fits your space.

What kinds of finishes do you use?

There are many finishes to choose from and it depends on what your project requires. I typically work with a conversion varnish and Rubio monocoat oil. They are hard, protective finishes that don’t take away from the beauty of the wood. I occasionally like to use danish oil and I am open to other finishes if the project requires it.

Can I have my project engraved?

Yes! I can customize any project with laser or CNC router engravings.

What does the pricing for a custom order look like?

What does the timeline for a custom order look like?

The timeline for your custom piece is based on a variety factors. Please contact me about your piece to receive a free 1-on-1 initial design and estimate, including my best estimated completion date.

Generally speaking, smaller items can take between 2-6 weeks while larger ones can take 4-8+ months.

Can I have my items shipped to me?

You are always welcome to pick up your item for free, but if needed I can personally deliver large items in a 60-mile radius of Nokesville, VA with a delivery charge.
