About the Craftswoman
Gabrielle (Gabby) Carder is the designer and craftswoman at Bra Full of Sawdust, LLC currently located in Northern Virginia. She helps design your custom piece, select the proper material for your project, and build it from start to finish. After graduating with a degree in theatrical scenery construction from Virginia Commonwealth University, she worked for a theatre and television production house that constructed scenery, notably for the Commission on Presidential Debates and for theatres like Ford’s Theatre in Washington, D.C. Working in the entertainment industry helped her find her way to her real passion, fine woodworking. Gabby now builds long lasting, unique pieces full time.
